Strong Winds

Again, in DFW Metroplex, we are used to violent storms and in heavy rain, strong winds can actually blow the rainwater upwards under your shingles and into your attic space and down into your home.

A strong acrid smell (a bit like burning rubber)is normally the only clue that this is happening in your home and needs to be investigated quickly.
